Letter, 1776 November 7.

Letter to J.P. Palmer immediately following the battle of White Plains. Keith discusses the battle and states that the Americans have inflicted heavier losses on the British than they have sustained. He also states that the Hessian's are sick with scurvy and that the British are fearful of losing more men. Keith believes that the British may go to Georgia and that, if they do, the Americans will follow. He also praises the construction of fortifications by the Americans. Written at White Plains, N.Y.
